Vijay Thomas is Founder and CEO at Tangentia, a leading digital transformation company with operations in Canada, USA and India. Tangentia is recognised as a leader in the digital transformation space and counts many prestigious companies globally like customers including Suncor, Jaguar Land Rover, Reliance Retail, Royal Bank of Canada, Canopy Growth, LCBO, Whirlpool and many others.
Tangentia was on the Profit 500 list of fastest growing companies in Canada 6 years in a row and Tangentia America was also part of the INC 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the USA.
He is also Founder and CEO of Tangentia Ventures which has investments in a diverse portfolio of companies globally including Clean Planet one of the largest manufacturers of Made in Canada apparel and hospital gowns, Pumpkin Kart an ethnic food delivery app in Toronto, Dogpot.in India’s leading dog food company and many others. He has a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Karnatak University and an MBA from Goa Institute of Management.
Vijay is active in multiple local and global business organisations, he was the 32nd president of the Indo- Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), and spearheaded the ‘Oxygen for India’ movement in Canada to support India during the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic. He is the founder Treasurer of the Willowdale BIA in Toronto, an organization that he helped create along with a few other community leaders and volunteers and also on the board of TIE Toronto.
Vijay grew up in Goa, India and lived in different parts of the world including Chennai, Montreal, Boston and now calls Toronto home.
