Hariharan Raghavan is a seasoned finance and business leader with over 35 years of international experience across multiple industries. A Chartered Accountant (CA) from India, he also holds professional designations as a CGA, CA, and CPA in Canada, and CPA & CISA in the United States.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Raghavan has held several senior leadership roles, including: CEO, Tarabaroz Fisheries, Nigeria, CEO, Nyanza Bottling, Tanzania, CFO, Ambattur Clothing, India.
Currently he is Partner & CFO, at Macrodyne Technologies, Canada — a two hundred million dollar engineering group with operations in Canada, USA, and Europe (www.macrodynepress.com)
He also serves as Chairman of Black Diary Investments, managing assets of over four hundred million dollar and achieving a remarkable 200x return in eight years (www.blackdiaryinvestments.com).
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Raghavan is deeply committed to community service, charities and philanthropy. As President of the Hindu Food Bank, he supports numerous food banks across the Greater Toronto Area (www.hindufoodbank.com). A passionate chess enthusiast and promoter, he actively supports grandmasters in India and Canada, and serves as Director of the Annex Chess Club and Ajax Chess Club (www.checkmateusaindia.com).
He is also President of the Hariharan Raghavan Family Arts Foundation, which champions Carnatic music, theatre, education, and philanthropy across Canada, India, and the USA — contributing over $400,000 in the past five years.
Mr. Raghavan lives with his wife Ms. Vijayalakshmi Hariharan, and their children, Shveta and Lakshman.
