The CIF Chanchlani Global Indian Award
The CIF Chanchlani Global Indian Award was created by CIF to recognize an individual who demonstrates global leadership, vision and professional excellence. The Award was made possible through the generous contribution of Vasu Chanchlani, who committed one million dollars as endowment towards the Award fund, and additional monetary commitments from several CIF Charter Members. The award recipient will receive a custom designed trophy along with a cheque for $50,000, payable to a charitable institution of his/her choice.
Canada India Infrastructure Forum 2014
Canada India Infrastructure Forum 2014 is the fourth high-profile thematic public policy forum organized by CIF to shine the light on opportunities for greater trade between Canada and India, and make policy recommendations to capitalize on the opportunities. Previous forums by CIF have focused on Energy (2009), Mining and Metals (2010) and Agriculture & Food Processing (2012). Speakers at past forums have included former President of India, Federal and Provincial Ministers from Canada and CEOs from private sector in both countries.
