New Executive Team for CIF Announced

Canada India Foundation is pleased to announce, effective immediately, its Executive Team for the 2013-2015 term.

The Executive team, the fourth in CIF history, will be led by Dr. V.I. “Lucky” Lakshmanan as Chair, with Mr. Jay Minhas as Co-Chair and Mr. Laj Prasher as National Convenor. Dr. Atul Tolia has been appointed as Secretary and Mr. Kalyan Sundaram will continue as the Executive Director.

The Executive Team will continue the stellar efforts of its predecessors in fulfilling the objectives and mandate of Canada India Foundation, namely:

– foster support for stronger bi-lateral relations between Canada and India
– educate Canadians on the changing face of India, and
– increase participation of Indo-Canadians in public policy process in Canada.

A series of special initiatives by the new Executive Team towards the above objectives will be announced shortly.
